Liz Edwards I grew up listening to opera, my dad Charles was an opera singer and I loved to hear him sing and listen to his vast collection of 78s. I heard great singers such as Enrico Caruso, Benjamino Gili and Juse` Buerling but my dads favourite was Charles Kullman. This is where my love of singing came about. My mother Ursula was also a great singer who sang in many choirs one being the famous Grail Choir of Sydney. My family are always singing and I learnt to harmonize with my brother Raymund. I learnt the piano as a child. I discovered the accordion later and was thrilled to be able to finally carry an instrument with me wherever I wanted to go just like my guitar playing friends! I enjoy playing all styles of music but my favourite is Cajun and Zydeco music.I have played in many lineups including The Little Sisters of Domestic Bliss and as Gina G Spot in the musical comedy duo The G Spots. I studied Fashion Design in Newcastle and became a Fashion Teacher and Designer. I have a clothing label called Elizabeth Louise and I also create Landscape Quilts. If you have any questions about accordions, music or fashion, or anything else just drop me a line on my e-mail. Cheers Liz.
